By far one of the best bars on Broadway in Fargo. Bar tenders and staff are knowledgeable and know all the recipes for drinks and shots. Free bingo and cheap food on Wednesday and Thursday make it one of our go to spots.

Honestly the vibe is very welcoming right below the aquarium, has servers ready to take your order and bring you drinks at any moment, tons of things to do like pool, dart, and they host events pretty much every day of the week, from taco wednesday to karaoke including bingo! Definitely worth a go, shout out to nova too, best server nice sweet, friendly and very pretty

Had a really good time here. $1 tacos on Wednesday nights if consuming or $2 per taco if simply eating. I was expecting garbage food for that price. The food was actually very, very good. They have a live music venue on the second floor. Drink and beer selection is extensive and pricing isn't bad being so close to the Fargo college campuses. Bartenders are friendly and super down to earth. Crowd is a surprising mix of locals, people getting off work, students, visitors, etc. Will make sure to return in the future.

This place is always a go to of mine. The mood is always changing depending on the day, with different bands and events that happen on the regular. Not only is Dempsey's a great place to have a drink, but they also offer up some good food. There menu may be limited, but what they do have is sure to hit the spot. They have daily drink and food specials, so be sure to check it out. One of my favorites is dollar taco night on Wednesdays accompanied by free bingo.

Chelsea has been a great bartender, it was the first time, and she treated us like the best way possible and the shots were great with cocktails and beers. Love the Music as well classic music.

Dempsey’s walks the line between cozy pub and modern gastropub chic. Warm wood, dim lights, local art on the walls — it’s the kind of place that says “late night with an old friend” instead of “rush and go.” It’s packed enough to feel lively but not loud enough that you need to shout to be heard. AD 2026 March 31 A fun hour of karaoke. Andrew the Karaoke Jockey did a fine job. Singers and listeners had a good time. If you smoke, go out back in the alley where there are no... soliciters.
